In the second quarter of 2024, the Film & Television category has seen noteworthy performances from leading applications. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the trends for these entertainment giants.

Max: Stream HBO, TV, & Movies witnessed fluctuating revenues starting at approximately $127K in the first week of April and peaking at around $188K in June. Downloads began at 111K and saw a dip to 66K in late May, but recovered to 92K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a healthy uptrend from 318K to over 714K.

For Disney+, the revenue trend was initially stable with a notable spike to nearly $195K in the last week of June. Downloads showed progressive growth, starting at 19K and experiencing a substantial increase to 84K in the same period. The app's weekly active users saw a gradual increase from 176K to 246K.
